And now, some actual LIFE. May 28, 2002
OK, so the only real update I've posted this month (actually, I just posted it about 5 minutes ago) is something only programmers would understand. That is about to change, because this entry is about my life, like a blog entry is supposed to be. Here goes.
Well, first of all, I'm home from school now. College ended for me exactly two weeks ago today. I didn't quite get to do everything I wanted to do before leaving (some of you will know what I'm talking about, probably), but things turned out pretty much ok, and I came out of the semester fairly unscathed, academically speaking. Well, I don't know all my grades yet; however, the ones I do know are better than I expected.
I've been working for the Distance Learning Project at Teachers College, Columbia University, putting together a prototype of an experimental new web site… but you won't get any details from this blog. <grin> If you're really interested, ask me.
I've been hanging out at home a lot of late, since there's ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO in frickin' Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. And most of my friends are working. Sigh. (Note: yes, I've been working too. But MY job can be done from home.)
In about 3 weeks, I'm going to disappear off into the wilds of New Milford, Connecticut. Yes, I will again be working at Buck's Rock Performing and Creative Arts Camp. This will make… what… my EIGHTH summer? Well, Sara W. put it best: "We have no lives." Heh.
Well, that's all for now. If you've got AIM, talk to me! My screen name is NatBudin42. Look forward to hearing from ya.
