No, really not a joke. I'm bored enough that I feel like shouting into the void and telling everyone about recent occurrences in the general vicinity of me.

However, I am going to follow my long-held, but until-recently not codified rule about blogging: I will not mention other people by name nor by LJ handle. If I need to use someone's name, I will write [redacted]. If you are the person I'm mentioning, and you'd like me to use your name, then ping me privately and I'll edit the entry. If you don't mind me using your name in general, I can unredact you permanently.So, my life lately.

• Work: not bad. Last week we had a bug-regression crunch, which apparently we dealt with pretty well, so high-fives all around to my team, especially [redacted], who singlehandely regressed over 80 bugs. Schweet.
• Housing: possible 3-bedroom apartment in Windsor Village found. Talked to and (potential housemates) last night and hashed out some concerns and possible resolutions to them. They're coming over later tonight to check out the space. If all goes well, I'm hoping to place a hold on the apartment we want quite soon, and move in around the beginning-to-middle of August.
• Weekend: mostly hung out with . Used my new Combo Pass (thanks, Novell!) to take a long trip around various points of interest in Boston and vicinity. Super awesome because you can bring a free guest on Sundays.
• Coding: fighting with C# and Boo. Eventually I will prevail. Don't want to publicize too many details about my current project, but it should be pretty sweet.
• Other: had lunch with (who I know from Buck's Rock, and hadn't seen in ages). Any other Buck's Rockers in the Boston area who want to hang out?
