Nat Budin writes down his innermost thoughts on the Internet
Who’s Nat?
Nat Budin is a software engineer, LARPer, musician, and, yes, geek, living in central Massachusetts. This very infrequently-updated blog is more or less his home page these days.
Of course you are. That’s really hilarious that they’d choose to describe it that way… I may not be as diehard a fan of any one thing (LARPs, anime, Star Trek, etc) as some people, but I love con culture. And there’s something about the idea of these Wired people wandering through the con, viewing it somewhat as outsiders, but being entertained and interested and engaged by the people and situations they’ve encountered…
Anyway, was this published in the magazine or only online? Is it even formally by the Wired people, or just sort of hosted on their site as a network of blogs?
It’s online only. The people who update that blog are Wired contributing editors, and it’s viewed as somewhat an official Wired publication, but it’s not part of wired.com or Wired magazine.
