New natbudin.com
April 30, 2008
For a long time now, if you went to my “home page”, natbudin.com, you would be confronted with a page that looked something like this:
While true, this message is somewhat less than informative. Today I decided it’s been up there for damn long enough, and finally replaced it with this somewhat-pretentious page:
It’s also not incredibly informative, but it at least gives you a better idea of what you’re looking at. What do y’all think?

Very Polaroidy!
I occasionally consider having a different landing page than my blog, but every time I do that I realize that I really don’t have any other regularly updated content that I would need people to be aware of. Alternatively though, it would let me throw up something slightly more professional and actually hand out my homepage in certain circles. Meh.
Yeah, I’m not really sure why I didn’t just have natbudin.com be my blog, to be honest. I guess this format lets me also link to other pages people might be interested in, but I could also do that via a sidebar on the blog.
In any case, I actually updated this page yesterday – now if you view it in Safari 3.1, you’ll see a nifty embedded font as the “handwritten” name on the Polaroid. Mostly just to play with the new Safari CSS3 font embedding feature.
