Yesterday... Jan 11, 2002

…love was such an easy game to play. Now I need a place to hide away. Oh, I believe in yesterday.

No, just kidding. This post is indeed about yesterday, being the day before this one, not the song by Paul McCartney.

Yesterday I decided to go and visit the old alma mater again, that being Hastings High School. I got to hang out with a few of my old friends for a while, which was a lot of fun, but unfortunately said hanging out was constantly interrupted by a certain person who shall remain nameless and his repeated attempts to 1) play bad music loudly, 2) beat me up, and 3) unplug James and Greg's laptops. Outside the room were a bunch of his friends egging him on.

Overall, it was nice to see everybody again, but I could have done without the last part. It had the general effect of making me extremely glad I wasn't in high school anymore, making me appreciate college quite a lot, and making me wish I was back there now. Oh well. Only about a week to go.

Later on, I went to a Friends of Buck's Rock Alumni Council meeting. The meeting was pretty much the high point of my day. For anyone who's been to Buck's Rock, and hasn't heard about these meetings, they're open to anyone who has an interest in helping out the Friends of Buck's Rock. They're fun, and a good chance to see people from camp who you haven't seen in years, so I highly recommend attending one.

Right now, I'm writing a LiveJournal entry, and using said entry to procrastinate working on sForzando. But I can't put it off for that much longer. Hopefully, I'll be able to get clipping LDNodes working today. Once that's done, I think all the standard sForzando tests should work, so I should be able to release a new beta! Yay!
